Ingredients:

  • 1 large Banana (120g), peeled, sliced, and frozen overnight
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Strong Cold Brew Coffee
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp (16g) Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 scoop (25g) Chocolate or Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 tsp (2g) Cacao Nibs

Instructions:

  1. Prep the base. Ensure your 120g banana is rock hard and frozen. Note: Frozen fruit creates a micro crystalline structure that mimics soft serve.
  2. Pour the liquid. Add the 120ml cold brew and 120ml almond milk to the blender first.
  3. Add the thickeners. Drop in the frozen banana slices and 16g peanut butter.
  4. Incorporate flavor. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and pour the vanilla extract.
  5. Add the protein. Layer the 25g protein powder on top of the other ingredients. Note: Putting powder in last prevents it from sticking to the blades.
  6. Pulse to start. Use 3-4 short pulses to break up the large frozen chunks.
  7. High speed blend. Run the blender on high for 45 seconds until the vortex is smooth and quiet.
  8. Check the texture. If it is too thick, add a splash of almond milk.
  9. Fold in the crunch. Pulse in the 2g cacao nibs at the very end.
  10. Serve immediately. Pour into a chilled glass until the frosty peaks hold their shape.
