  • 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tsp ground Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1/4 cup high-protein granola
  • 2 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa)
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Core the apples and slice them into 1/4-inch thick wedges. Submerge immediately in a bowl containing ice water and lemon juice for 5 minutes to prevent oxidation and tighten the pectin.
  2. Drain the apples and pat them completely dry with a clean kitchen towel to ensure the protein drizzle adheres properly.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter, coconut oil, and cinnamon. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is fluid and glossy.
  4. Arrange half of the apple slices in a circular shingle pattern on a large platter. Drizzle with half of the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Sprinkle half of the sliced almonds, hemp hearts, granola, and dark chocolate chips over the first layer.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining apples, drizzle, and toppings. Finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
