Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats (45g)
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder (30g)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (12g)
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk (160ml)
  • 1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt (60g)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (7g)
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place 45g old fashioned rolled oats into a 16 ounce wide mouth glass jar.
  2. Add 30g whey protein powder and 12g chia seeds to the dry oats.
  3. Whisk the dry ingredients together with a fork until the cinnamon and protein are evenly distributed.
  4. Spoon in 60g Greek yogurt and add 7g maple syrup and the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour 160ml almond milk over the mixture.
  6. Stir vigorously with a long spoon until no dry clumps of powder remain at the bottom.
  7. Wait 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent the chia seeds from clumping into a single mass.
  8. Seal the lid tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  9. Remove from the fridge and stir once more until the texture looks glossy and uniform.
  10. Top with fresh berries or a nut butter drizzle just before serving.
