Verrines: the vegan dessert that wows
Elegant, refined, verrines are the easy vegan dessert AND chic. We know them in an aperitif or starter version, let’s see what we can do in a sweet version.
Here we offer you a vegan dessert recipe with seasonal fruit. Versatile, it adapts very easily to cherries in summer, strawberries in spring or apples in winter. Take the fruits you have on hand, even those that are a little wilted will find an anti-waste use and it avoids unnecessarily throwing away food that is still usable.
The ingredients for 3 verrines of vegan dessert with strawberries (or other seasonal fruit ):
- 400 g strawberries (or other seasonal fruits)
- 100 g of almond puree
- 1 case of agar agar
- 20 cl of soy or vegetable cream
- 75 g of cane sugar
- 1 little water
- 1 vanilla pod
- biscuits (optional)
Cut the strawberries in half and cook for 10 minutes with 25g sugar. Prepare the cream, mix the soy cream sugar and almond puree and vanilla pod seeds.
In a small saucepan, mix a little water and the agar agar then bring to the boil for one minute.
Pour into the cream then whisk. Take a little juice from the fruit compote and dip 3 biscuits. Place them in the glass, then add the fruit compote and finish with the cream.
Decorate with a strawberry (or other seasonal fruit) and leave to cool for 2 hours.
Vegan apple dessert: practical in all seasons
Apples keep very well and, as a result, we find them almost all the time! It is the ideal fruit to make, for example, a soft vegan apple cake.
Ingredients
For 8 people:
- 200 g of applesauce (to make or buy)
- 170 ml of vegetable milk
- 100 ml of neutral vegetable oil
- 300 g of flour
- 120g caster sugar
- a packet of baking powder
- 2 apples
Preparation of vegan apple cake
Peel the apples and cut them into pieces.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder.
Add compote, milk and oil and mix then add the apple pieces and mix. Pour the mixture into a mold, sprinkle with brown sugar to form a crispy caramelized crust) and bake for around 40/50 minutes at 180º, checking the cooking regularly.
Let cool before enjoying your vegan apple dessert.

Healthy vegan dessert: indulge without feeling guilty

- 100 g soy cream
- 200 g soy yogurt
- 2 tbsp. tablespoon of liquid vanilla
- 1 C. tablespoon of lemon juice
- 30 g of agave syrup
- 100 g of red fruits
Preparation
Mix soy cream, soy yogurt, agave syrup and lemon juice. Coarsely crush the red fruits with a fork and put them in a mold. Top with the cream and refrigerate for 2 hours.
