Vegetarian lentil burger recipe (4 people)

Ingredients :

  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 60 g of cheese (vegetable or classic)
  • salt , pepper
  • 200 g green lentils
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g of breadcrumbs

Cook the lentils for 30 minutes in water. Brown chopped onion and grated carrot. Mix lentil, carrot, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, cumin, tomato, salt, pepper.

Form into patties and cook for 30 minutes in the oven or pan. Put your plant-based steaks in your hamburger buns with the garnish: mayonnaise, salad, tomato, cheese, etc. Close the burger and eat hot.

Vegetarian avocado burger recipe

You have two cool options for your avocado veggie burger.

The first is to replace the bread with half avocados. You peel the avocados cut in half and lemon them so that they do not blacken. You place half on a plate and top with a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, a slice of onion, a vegetable steak, a seasoning of your choice, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, etc., and close on top with the second half of avocado. Simple and original, this vegetarian avocado burger recipe often impresses guests!

The second option is to replace the vegetable steak with slices of avocado in the simple vegetarian burger recipe. It’s tasty and great with some delicious air fried sweet potatoes.
